Metal Polishes

Our Micron 5 Metal polish is ideal for maintaining metal surfaces, particularly cleats and railings.

It is water free in composition and this prevents hard metal oxides forming during use. Metal oxides, especially aluminium oxides, are very hard; Much harder than the metals that made them. With a water-based polish you have to wear through these oxide layers with each pass of the polish. 

Our oil-based formulation excludes water and air, meaning these hard oxides never form. We can use a finer abrasive for the same polishing effect, resulting in a high shine than possible with a market typical oil/water based polish.
