Professional Polishes & Compounds

Ferro manufactures marine specific compounds addressing the challenges of polishing vessels with automotive compounds. Even the best automotive compounds dry too quickly and contain soft coarse abrasive that are generally ineffective. Our Compounds contain hard but fine abrasives capable of efficient cutting on harder materials such as gelcoat and GRP. 

Also, our compounds are free of sticky acrylic thickeners. These gum up polishing pads and cause grab while using on a rotary machine, especially on sun warned dark hulls. 

Our NC-3 series compounds are also made for long work time on hot surfaces. Unlike auto repair marine finishing occurs in spaces where a hot sun warmed surface is unavoidable. Our NC-3 series compounds are made oilier to allow a long work time even on hot surfaces.
