HC-1001 Anti-Graffiti Clearcoat 250ml

Mentor HC-1001 Anti-Graffiti Clearcoat is a polysilazane based coating ideal for protecting paint, gelcoat and steel surfaces from spray-paint, permanent marker and more. Any flat, non-absorbent surface can be coated to make cleaning easier and to restore a glossy reflective appearance. 

In some instances, HC-1001 will make graffiti paints bead and run, preventing adhesion and destroying the potential design. 

HC-1001 is also great for preventing finger marking on brushed and polished steel, stainless steel and aluminium. Elevators, lobbies and control panels can be coated to preserve the original finish. Greasy fingermarks will no longer appear on the surface. 

HC-1001 is easily applied with our easy coating tool and is touch dry in 4 hours, fully cured in 48 hrs. 

Graffiti can be removed using a NMP based graffiti remover. It is resistant to most solvents and is durable against scrubbing. 

HC-1001 will prevent permanent marker ghosting. 

The coating will last 2 years in an outdoor setting, and indefinitely indoors. If scratched or damaged HC-1001 can be removed using our dedicated water-based removal gel. The surface can be repolished and coated again.
