NAUTONIC Durable Polymer IE2000 is our popular curing polymer sealant for aviation surfaces. After polishing & application it imparts a slick silky feel and a fabulous reflective shine. IE2000 has a refractive index optimised to look best in fluorescent & LED lighting giving the best hangar and showroom experience, while reducing sun glare. IE2000 is great for smaller gelcoat and painted cars & vessels too.
IE2000 cures to a tough, resilient sealant layer. It is flexible, rather than brittle, and provides a long-lasting hydrophobic layer and a persistent shine. It is great for preserving bright polished aluminium surfaces also, binding strongly to the metal surface and preventing oxidation.
IE2000 is best applied using a large soft random orbital buffing machine but can be applied by hand using a soft cloth.
Nautonic Durable Polymer IE2000 is also aviation certified for Airbus, Boeing and AMS, including paint integrity, acrylic and aluminium sandwich corrosion testing for airframes.
