Nautonic NC-4400 is a clear, ready-to-use coating solution that protects polished marine paints against diesel soot and acid rain staining. Based on a hybrid organo-silane resin, Nautonic NC-4400 forms an impermeable barrier layer that bonds chemically with the substrate and cures at room temperature with atmospheric humidity. The surface protected with Nautonic NC-4400 can be cleaned repeatedly without reapplying the product.

This coating is easily removed and is designed for stripping and re-coating every two years.

Nautonic NC-4400 is recommended for polished, non-absorbent surfaces such as 
two-component paints (polyurethane or epoxy systems) and polyester paints. The 
preferred use is for the exterior of marine Vessels.

It is not recommended for Gelcoat vessels. 

We strongly recommend this product for professional application only. Ideally, NC-4400 is applied as a strip along the waterline or around the stern of a vessel where diesel soot accumulates. It will prevent the soot adhering and allows it to be easily washed off with soap and water.
