NC-4 Series Coatings are specifically designed to combat diesel soot issues. On many large vessels diesel exhaust can stain polyurethane paints and gelcoat. This is a problem as this staining is almost impossible to remove without polishing. The NC-4400 clearcoat was designed for this issue. An application along the stern and waterline allows easy cleanup of diesel soot with just soap and water. NC-4400 has been applied to hundreds of vessels for just this purpose. NC-4400 clearcoat should be applied by a professional painter or applicator.

The NC-4200 sealant offers the same benefits with an easy application method. It is also effective at preserving polished and oxidised paints by sealing the surface to exclude water & dirt, a cause of oxidation when combined with UV. It also offers high gloss and excellent slick feel. A property not common in hard sealants.
